PACKAGING, PROJECT 1, MARSHMALLOWS

I decided to redesign Marshmallow's packaging. The packages are pretty large and usually no one can finish the entire package all at once. They have three flavors other than the plain white ones. So, I'm planning to have fun with it and come up with happy, cartoony, interesting designs.

  1. Your thumbnails look good. The designs are very interesting. Most of them have a see through window which is a really good idea because we can see the product and most likely we're going to buy them.

  2. omg i LOVE your sketches. i'm jealous of your talent. my favorite is the last one, the jar. its very unique--you never see marshmallows in a jar. however you gotta think nobody will want to buy the jar unless it can be refillable somehow. maybe the most cost effective idea will be a bag, like the first one. curious to see what kind of design you come up with for the graphics!

  3. I like the cube idea on the middle right and the bag on the top left. I think they are different and pretty cool. I think it would work pretty good with either idea.
I just think of a kid (or me... hehe) desperately desiring to eat them and opening that packaging as a gift awaiting inside to be eaten. (I want marshmallows now.. haha)

  4. Very nice and detailed sketches! I like numbers 6 and 7 the best. I like 6 because of how you have 3 different jars inside the box and can see the actual product. It's also different from most marshmallow packaging I have seen. Also with the three different flavors I can see the packaging being very colorful and eye catching. Great work!

  5. I'm kinda confused. What exactly is your product? Is this for those little marshmallows? Or the marshmallow fluff? What three flavors are there???? I've only seen white... Are you trying to market marshmallows as a snack food? Right now I think people usually get them for smores or making rice crispy's.
