Berlitz French Premier

I decided to redesign the packaging for this language software company called BERLITZ. These softwares are available to learn French, English, and Spanish. The current packaging still has the old look and I find it very busy. It's hard to find necessary information on it. There are too many overlaps and there are too many colors used in a small space. I want to give it a simple and contemporary look so that the consumers find it easy to read. This way they will also have a peace of mind that it's going to be easy to learn the language.

 

Here are my billboard and bus wrap sketches. I just placed stick figures for my athletes. I'm planning to use silhouette instead of full color images. :)

Emerge

I attended the Emerge event on Saturday night at LMU. It was a good experience to see a lot of good designs all in one place! :) Unfortunately I didn't have my camera so I didn't take any pictures! :( I liked a lot of the pieces mainly because of the composition, type settings and colors. One thing I noticed, a lot of the artwork didn't have a description or a title which made it hard to figure out the purpose of the design. I was inspired by a lot of the pieces.
